How do I buy an eBook?

Search for more than 200,000 pay titles and the entire Google free library on: www.MyEZread.com, become a free member by registering or signing in, check to be sure your device works with Adobe Digital Editions if you do not know for sure (we have a list of devices on our website that take Adobe Digital Editions and have it already ported into the device),and then do the free download of Adobe Digital Editions for your computer (there is an easy link). Then choose the eBook you want in either PDF or EPUB (your choice) and click the "Download" button on the product page. Enter your credit card info; then click the button to complete your purchase. Your new eBook will be waiting for you in the “My Digital Editions” that Adobe automatically stores under “My Documents” on your computer!

Note: Getting the eBook from “My Digital Editions” into your eBook Reader is basically drag and drop.

To complete your eBook purchase, you must sign in and enter a credit card. You will have this option during the purchasing process. It only takes a moment. Your device MUST display in either PDF or EPUB  and it will if you have Adobe Digital Editions on the device. If your device does not have Adobe Digital Editions already ported in, you cannot add it to the device simply by having it on your computer. It must come that way from the factory.

How do I delete my eBooks from my device?

It's easy to delete an eBook when you're finished with it.

Step 1: Open any eBook and tap the menu icon

Step 2: Select 'delete' from the book menu

Step 3: Select the book you wish to delete, then press the 'delete' button

What are my payment options?

We accept  MasterCard, Discover, and Visa. You must have a valid payment card and billing address set up to purchase an eBook. You do this my registering as a free member!

eBooks follow the normal tax rules of all downloadable products.

Can I access my eBooks while traveling?

You can download eBooks from your eBooks Library that have already been purchased. You will not be able to purchase eBooks if you are traveling outside of the United States.

Why do I need to enter a credit card to download my eBook?

To access your protected purchases, you must have an authorized credit card. This allows us to charge your card; and then we ensure the author and publisher get their money!

Can I buy an eBook for a friend?

No. When you buy an eBook, the eBook is encrypted with your Adobe Digital Editions account information and requires that same information to unlock it.

What does DRM mean, and how will it affect my eBook ownership?

Digital Rights Management (DRM) is used to ensure that a specific copy of an eBook is owned by one owner, and is not just given away. This ensures that copyright laws are respected and that authors and publishers are fairly compensated. DRM means that when you buy an eBook, you own that copy forever, unless you delete it from your online digital library. You can read it, but others cannot read it.
